Each year, the MRS Awards continue to draw attention to research's ability to drive innovation, inspire change and deliver results and make a clear statement about our industry. For these reasons, Measure is thrilled to be recognized as a finalist for the MRS 2022 Award for Best Technology Innovation for its Retro behavioral data technology.
The ability to collect reliable, quality and actionable behavioural data has become increasingly difficult for Brands, Agencies and app publishers. Increasingly, legislation and general consumer skepticism on sharing data, has created barriers to accessing behavioral data, and secondly, technology platforms such as Apple and Google have taken the position that a consumers’ privacy and ownership to their data is of primary importance, and as such, have created a number of technical barriers for insights professionals to access behavioural data across their platforms, thus rendering existing methodologies near obsolete.
Measure Protocol’s Retro technology was developed to address these challenges. Based on Measure’s privacy-first foundation, the Retro Platform provides a secure way for individuals to monetize their data, and for insights and business professionals to access data not previously available. This approach is the only fully-transparent and iOS compliant data collection methodology that provides access to behavioural data such as detailed app and service usage, in-app purchases, Netflix viewing, YouTube viewing, and podcast listening.
"We are thrilled, yet humbled by the continued recognition by the MRS and ASC for our efforts to provide a future-proof approach to collecting data", says Owen Hanks, CEO and co-founder.
The MRS virtual ceremony takes place the 5th of December, 2022 at Old Billingsgate, London. You can learn more about the MRS and awards here.
